Portree Harbour — SkyeI love this place. Bright and colourful, the locals are always cheery. If you haven't been to Skye then you have to go at the soonest chance.
Cottage in Glen CoeSome back garden to this gaff!
Hillside — SkyeThis lovely little bit of hillside, just before you reach Talisker Bay, had an eerie feel to it as the sun tried to burn through the clouds.
Eilean Donan CastleAs one of the most iconic images of Scotland, Eilean Donan is recognised all around the world. I've been here many times — including photographing a wedding — but always managed to coincide with the tide being out! Delighted to finally catch the castle with water helping to make a lovely picture.
Glen CoeI was luck enough to be in the right place at the right time whilst driving south through Glen Coe. The sun was setting and the final rays of light were beaming across the sky line. Magical.
Sun Dipping on Loch AlshThe beautiful blues and soft yellows on Loch Alsh as the sun dips behind the distant cullins of Skye.
Talisker Bay TrailNot sure what this hill is called but it's just beside the Sleadale Burn as you walk the trail to Talisker Bay on the beautiful Isle of Skye.
Sail Boat on Loch OichA little bit of patience paid off as I waitied for this little boat to bob past on the other side of Loch Oich to capture this shot. The water was flat calm and the autumn colours were just fantastic.
Storm Brewing — Black CullinsThe ominous clouds forming over the Black Cullins on Skye look almost apocalyptic.
Talisker Bay — SkyeWaves crashing in on Talisker Bay.
Glen Coe sunsetI was luck enough to be in the right place at the right time whilst driving south through Glen Coe. The sun was setting and the final rays of light were beaming across the sky line. Magical.
Old Man of Storr — SkyeThe Storr is prime example of the Trotternish landslip, the longest such feature in the UK. The area in front of the cliffs of the Storr is known as the Sanctuary. This has a number of weirdly shaped rock pinnacles, the remnants of ancient landslips.
Glen Brittle — SkyeThe landscapes on Skye never ever disappoints. This is towards the south of the island, heading towards the Fairy Pools at Glen Brittle.
Fairy Pools — SkyeThe walk towards the Fairy Pools at Glen Brittle.
Reflections on the LochSome lovely little cottages by the loch side with the drama of the hills behind them.
Smoke on Loch OichThe dramatic scenery of the highlands is breathtaking. Loch Oich is just past Fort William and well worth a visit.
Glen Coe — Scottish HighlandsSomewhere in the Glen Coe mountain range! Not sure where.
