Hillside — Skye
Hillside — SkyeThis lovely little bit of hillside, just before you reach Talisker Bay, had an eerie feel to it as the sun tried to burn through the clouds.
Eilean Donan Castle
Eilean Donan CastleAs one of the most iconic images of Scotland, Eilean Donan is recognised all around the world. I've been here many times — including photographing a wedding — but always managed to coincide with the tide being out! Delighted to finally catch the castle with water helping to make a lovely picture.
Glen Coe
Glen CoeI was luck enough to be in the right place at the right time whilst driving south through Glen Coe. The sun was setting and the final rays of light were beaming across the sky line. Magical.

Sail Boat on Loch Oich
Sail Boat on Loch OichA little bit of patience paid off as I waitied for this little boat to bob past on the other side of Loch Oich to capture this shot. The water was flat calm and the autumn colours were just fantastic.

Old Man of Storr — SkyeThe Storr is prime example of the Trotternish landslip, the longest such feature in the UK. The area in front of the cliffs of the Storr is known as the Sanctuary. This has a number of weirdly shaped rock pinnacles, the remnants of ancient landslips.
